Granblue Fantasy Composer Tsutomu Narita Leaves Cygames Sound Team

Composer and arranger Tsutomu Narita has announced a significant alteration in his involvement with Granblue Fantasy after working on it since 2014. Specifically, Narita is no longer part of Cygames’ sound team for the game, though he will continue contributing music to Granblue Fantasy and other Cygames titles when schedules allow.

Narita explained that the change was made partly to accommodate his own professional schedule. Cygames’ sound team will handle production and supervision of some Granblue Fantasy music going forward.

Narita has been involved with Granblue Fantasy as an arranger since 2014 and has contributed numerous tracks during that 12-year period. His involvement has also extended to concerts and other game-related events.

Reflecting on his time with the title, Narita described Granblue Fantasy as a major part of his life. He also thanked players who have supported his music and Cygames for the opportunities he has received through the project.

The band Stella Magna, which includes Narita, also confirmed its disbandment after the news.
