Gamescom ’26: Here’s Another Look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is one of the most anticipated games of 2027. Wrapping up the Final Fantasy VII Remake Series trilogy, Revelation is escalating the scope once more, adding in the full FFVII cast along with airship travel via the Highwind, expanded combat, and more. But don’t just take our word for it; take a look at the latest trailer shown off during Gamescom:

The game is truly looking epic, although whether or not it will be as robust on Switch 2 compared to other platforms remains to be seen. The port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was pretty dang impressive, however, so here’s hoping that Revelation will be optimized well for Nintendo’s hybrid console.
