Final Fantasy 7's Zack Fair Officially Returns With New Release Coming October

Final Fantasy 7 may be most famous for characters like Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, and Aerith, but tying all of their stories and fates together throughout the legendary JRPG's story was Zack Fair. The elite member of SOLDIER who tragically died prior to the events of the game, and had his memories mixed up with Cloud's, Zack has only grown more popular overtime, thanks to his expanded roles in his own spinoff game, as well as the Remake trilogy.

Now, a new Zack Fair release is slated for an October 2026 release. It may be expensive, but for those who love the devastatingly handsome hero, it looks to absolutely be worth the money.

Zack Fair Returns in a New Final Fantasy 7 Release This October

This October, Square Enix is releasing the "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH 1/4 Scale - ZACK FAIR." This gorgeous statue brings the unsung hero of Final Fantasy 7 to life in exquisite detail, in a way he truly hasn't before.

"Unclouded blue eyes, and a Buster Sword that bears pride and friendship,' the description on Square Enix's website reads. "Zack from FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH appears as a 1/4 scale statue, perfected in 3D."

Zack Fair from FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, a man who never turns his back on his hopes and dreams, is brought to life in this statue series attracting attention from collectors all around the world!"

"His forward-facing stance, holding his sword at mid-level for peak offense and defense, directly captures his disposition from the game," the description continues. "Realistic posing in 1/4 scale is achieved through analyzing sword techniques deployed by his tall figure. Uncompromising attention to detail is given to every part of the figure, from the faithfully rendered scar on his left cheek, his bright mako eyes, and the textured steel and leather of his costume."

The description also mentions that Zack's Buster Sword, one that would later belong to Cloud Strife, can be customized with any two of the five different included materia. Additionally, to highlight that their stories are all one-in-the-same, the blue stones on the base of the statue are identical to the ones used in Prime 1 Studio's Cloud and Sephiroth statues.
