Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Returns November 24 With Stunning New Release

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was the best game of 2025, and one of the greatest RPGs of the last decade. No one expected the French dark fantasy to be such a masterpiece, and yet it ended up winning countless awards, including Game of the Year, and sold over 8 million copies.

Naturally, this has made many fans cave an Expedition 33 sequel, one with an even bigger budget and more content. While there's still no word about what the follow-up will look like, or when it will come out, there is another Clair Obscur release coming out this November that every fan will need to own.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Returns This November With an Official New Release

On November 24, 2026, Sandfall Interactive's Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will follow in the footsteps of many other popular video game franchises by receiving its very own art book. Written by Marina Macq, published by UDON Entertainment, and distributed by Simon & Schuster, "The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" is a new hardcover release, which will be available for $59.99 USD, plus tax and/or shipping.

"An unprecedented critical and commercial success, the video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 captivated more than 3 million players just weeks after its release."

Marine Macq is an author and editorial assistant at Pix'n Love and, in 2017, she founded GAMMA, a video game art gallery in France. Pix'n Love has directly collaborated with UDON Entertainment on "The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33", which will include 352 pages of new content.
